The FT-i Tour Low Center of Gravity (LCG) Driver was developed with feedback straight from the tour and produces a trajectory preferred by more accomplished players. With the combination of Fusion Technology and the revolutionary 460 cc Complete Inertial Design the FT-i Driver has discretionary weight positioned lower and in the extreme corners, producing the highest moment of inertia (MOI) of any Callaway Golf Driver. The low center of gravity helps reduce spin and generates a more penetrating ball flight for longer and straighter drives.
Technology
Tour Low Center of Gravity - Repositions weight lower in the clubhead to reduce spin off the driver and provide a more penetrating ball flight for increased distance.
460cc Complete Inertial Design - Positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI for unparalleled resistance to twisting both horizontally and vertically, providing forgiveness on shots hit all over the face.
Carbon Composite Body - Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in our largest, most robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.
OptiFit Weighting System - Enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them three different center of gravity (CG) locations to choose from in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; Neutral for maximum workability; or Fade for promoting a fade or reducing a hook/draw.
